1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TAKLIVA ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TAKLIVA is an adaptive environment that reads your state — through facial signals, biometric data, behavior, and context — and composes a living room of light, sound, and motion around you. Features include an AI system that learns and adapts to you, real-time adaptive music, journaling, personal insights, and premium subscriptions.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use TAKLIVA
  • You must provide accurate account information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • One account per person; multiple accounts may be banned

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Post offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to manipulate app systems or data
  • Share another person's personal information
  • Use automated scripts or bots
  • Reverse-engineer or decompile the App

Violations may result in account bans (temporary or permanent).

5. Content Ownership

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create (journal entries, chat messages, personal data)
  • License: By posting content, you grant TAKLIVA a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it within the App
  • Our Content: The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by TAKLIVA

6. Premium Subscription

  • Premium features are available via monthly subscription ($19.99/month)
  • Payments are processed through Stripe
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime through the App or at takliva.com
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support
  • Premium features include: Full adaptive room, music, advanced AI, deep insights

7. AI Features

  • AI coaching and insights are generated by third-party AI (Anthropic Claude)
  • AI responses are not medical, legal, or professional advice
  • Biological data analysis is for informational purposes only
  • Always consult qualified professionals for medical decisions

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TAKLIVA is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy of AI-generated content
  • Specific results from using the App

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TAKLIVA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Extended inactivity (with notice)

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes shall be resolved in Norwegian courts.
